EverCommerce Revenue Rises 2.7% to $151.4 Million as It Cuts 2026 Forecast

Key Facts

1Continuing-operations revenue was $151.4 million in the third quarter, up 2.7% year over year.
2Revenue came in below the low end of quarterly guidance of $151.5 million, while adjusted EBITDA guidance was $44 million to $46 million.
3The company cut its 2026 forecast to revenue of about $600 million and adjusted EBITDA of about $170 million.
4Revenue from subscriptions and transaction fees rose 4.2% to $148.2 million, while other revenue fell to $3.286 million.

EverCommerce reported results on November 5 for the quarter ended September 30, with continuing-operations revenue of $151.4 million, up 2.7% from $147.5 million in the same period of 2025. The result was below the low end of the company’s August forecast of $151.5 million, and also below the average analyst estimate of $152.7 million. The company reported net income from continuing operations of $6.0 million, or $0.03 per basic and diluted share, compared with $5.8 million and $0.03 per share a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA was $45.0 million, at the midpoint of the quarterly forecast range, but down from $46.5 million in the third quarter of 2025. The results put limited revenue growth, the shortfall against guidance and the cut to the annual outlook at the center of the company’s report.

Revenue mix showed stronger growth in subscriptions and transaction fees than in the total. Continuing-operations revenue from these sources rose 4.2% to $148.2 million in the third quarter, from $142.2 million in the same period of 2025. Other revenue, by contrast, fell to $3.286 million from $5.282 million a year earlier. Total reported revenue was $151.4 million, meaning growth in the largest component did not translate at the same rate into the total. The comparison between the two components shows subscription and transaction-fee growth coinciding with a drop in other revenue in a quarter when total revenue fell short of the low end of guidance.

Chief Executive Alex Gore said quarterly revenue came in below the low end of the company’s forecast, while adjusted EBITDA reached the midpoint of its range. He attributed the revenue shortfall mainly to items unrelated to monthly recurring revenue, including vendor rebates and delayed milestones on security and alarm projects. He also pointed to continued weakness in customer acquisition through organic search. Gore said, "The revenue miss was primarily driven by items unrelated to monthly recurring revenue, including vendor rebates and delayed security and alarm project milestones." Sales and marketing expenses rose to $33.311 million for the quarter, from $26.526 million in the corresponding quarter of 2025. The company thus cited customer-acquisition pressure and project milestone timing alongside increased marketing spending as part of the quarterly performance backdrop.

EverCommerce cut its full-year 2026 forecast to revenue of about $600 million and adjusted EBITDA of about $170 million. In August, the company had forecast revenue of $612 million to $632 million and adjusted EBITDA of $183 million to $191 million, saying then that annual results were trending toward the lower end of both ranges. The new update marks a reduction from those earlier forecasts on both measures, after third-quarter revenue came in below its stated range. The company linked the revised outlook to targeted investment in paid media for product growth initiatives, aimed at acquiring new customers. Management said it expects revenue acceleration to return as it exits 2027, a longer-term horizon than the year for which the forecast has now been cut.

For the nine months ended September 30, the company reported revenue of $450.927 million, compared with $437.754 million in the same period of 2025. Net income from continuing operations for the period rose to $22.892 million from $12.499 million. These year-to-date figures give a different picture from the quarterly comparison alone, with cumulative revenue increasing and cumulative net income also rising. In the third quarter alone, net income from continuing operations rose to $6.0 million from $5.8 million, while earnings per share remained at $0.03. On an adjusted operating basis, quarterly EBITDA fell to $45.0 million from $46.5 million a year earlier.

Cash and cash equivalents totaled $139.007 million on September 30, 2026, compared with $129.730 million on December 31, 2025. During the three months ended in September, the company repurchased and retired 1.6 million shares for about $15.7 million. A further $28.5 million remained available under the repurchase program at the end of September. These figures include cash movements during the first nine months of the year, as well as share repurchases in the third quarter. Management was scheduled to discuss third-quarter results and the outlook on a call held on November 5, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.
