In July, the annual US PCE Price Index remained steady at 3.7%, slightly exceeding market expectations of 3.6%. Meanwhile, the annual core PCE inflation rate, which excludes food and energy, stayed unchanged at 3.3%. On a monthly basis, the PCE Price Index increased by 0.2% in July, following a 0.1% contraction in the previous month.
