NextEra Energy is nearing a deal to acquire rival utility company Dominion Energy. An agreement could be announced as soon as Monday, provided that negotiations do not collapse. An agreement has been reached to acquire Dominion Energy in an all-stock transaction valued at $66.8 billion. The merger will create the world's largest regulated electric utility, with an enterprise value exceeding $400 billion including debt.
