Aura Minerals Reports $385.977 Million in Third-Quarter 2026 Revenue
Key Facts
Aura Minerals reported net revenue of about $385.977 million in the third quarter of 2026, up 56% from the same period last year and 15% from the second quarter, according to company data. Production totaled 95,557 gold-equivalent ounces, up 29% year over year and 27% from the previous quarter. The company said production reached a quarterly record at current metal prices. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $236.871 million, up 56% year over year and 20% quarter over quarter. The adjusted EBITDA margin was 61%, reflecting revenue growth alongside higher production.
The company attributed revenue growth to higher sales volumes and metal prices, while operating factors contributed to increased production. At the mine level, Borborema generated about $95.3 million in revenue, up 144% year over year, according to Aura's announcement. The company attributed the performance to record production and sales, higher grades and mill throughput, as well as rising gold prices. The mine accounted for 25% of the company's total revenue in the quarter, and its revenue also rose 51% from the second quarter. In its preliminary production announcement, Aura said quarterly sales totaled 93,742 gold-equivalent ounces, up 20% quarter over quarter.
Before the financial results were announced, estimates cited in a Reuters report carried by Investing.com pointed to third-quarter revenue of $374.1 million and earnings of $1.48 per share; those estimates predated the announcement. The Associated Press reported, in an item carried by The Hour, that net income was $1.59 per share, or $1.43 per share excluding one-time gains. In the first nine months of 2026, net revenue reached $1.10455 billion, up 84% from the corresponding period. Adjusted EBITDA for the same period was $677.399 million, up 99% year over year. The nine-month figures show revenue and adjusted earnings expanded compared with the same period a year earlier.
Operating cash flow was $167.905 million in the third quarter, up 81% year over year, according to the company. Net debt to last-twelve-month adjusted EBITDA was 0.20 times. In its preliminary production announcement, Aura said sales rose 7% year over year on a comparable basis excluding the MSG mine. The company attributed the increase mainly to higher sales at the Borborema and Aranzazu mines. This comparable measure provides additional context for the quarter's reported sales growth, excluding MSG from the year-over-year comparison.
Aura said it produced 253,131 gold-equivalent ounces in the first nine months and remained on track to meet its 2026 annual production guidance of 340,000 to 390,000 ounces. The guidance puts production through the end of September in the context of the company's full-year target. On November 5, the company announced a distribution of $0.72 per common share, totaling about $60.42 million. Market data showed AUGO shares closed at $71.27 that day. The Associated Press also reported that the stock had risen 41% year to date through November 5 and stood at $71.27 in the final minutes of trading on Thursday.
