U.S. spot Ethereum funds recorded net outflows of $155.7 million on Oct. 30, 2026, according to data from Farside Investors. The session extended the outflow streak to 5 consecutive trading sessions, during which outflows totaled $431.4 million from Oct. 26 to 30, according to the Crypto ETF platform. The Oct. 30 outflow was the largest in the streak, exceeding the outflows recorded in each of the previous four sessions. The data show net money flows across U.S. spot Ethereum funds during those sessions. The funds’ total trading volume was $847.96 million on Oct. 30, while 6 of the 11 funds recorded outflows, according to a TokenPost report.
The streak began with net outflows of $88.6 million on Oct. 26, followed by $60.2 million on Oct. 27 and $21.4 million on Oct. 28, according to Farside data. Outflows rose to $105.5 million on Oct. 29, before reaching $155.7 million in the following session. Outflows across the five sessions totaled $431.4 million, according to Crypto ETF. The two time windows show different totals: the first covers the consecutive streak, while the second covers a larger number of sessions.
BlackRock’s ETHA led outflows on Oct. 30, with net withdrawals of $76.6 million, according to Farside. Grayscale’s ETH fund recorded outflows of $34.1 million, while the company’s ETHE saw outflows of $21.5 million. BlackRock’s ETHB fund also recorded outflows of $19.5 million. The eleven funds’ net assets totaled $13.22 billion that day, including $6.90 billion in ETHA, according to TokenPost. Data cited in the report put the funds’ net assets at about 4.83% of Ethereum’s market capitalization.
The outflow session coincided with Ether closing at $2,245.54 on Oct. 30, compared with a close of $2,358.82 on Oct. 24, according to EL7 data. In the background, the Federal Open Market Committee met on Oct. 27 and 28 and, in its decision issued on Oct. 28, kept the target interest-rate range at 3.75% to 4%. The committee said that "inflation remains elevated" and that "domestic spending has been resilient." The meeting came after the outflow streak began on Oct. 26 and before its final session on Oct. 30. The committee’s next meeting is scheduled for Dec. 8 and 9, 2026, according to the Federal Reserve’s calendar.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved proposals in May 2024 to list and trade shares of Ether-based products. In July 2025, the agency allowed in-kind creation and redemption of shares in crypto asset exchange-traded products, including Bitcoin and Ether products. The agency said the products "will be permitted to create and redeem shares in-kind." The step provides regulatory context for the creation and redemption of shares in Ether products. Daily flow data and net assets remain separate indicators in the report of fund activity and asset size.
