JPMorgan Asset Management announced on October 22 that it was making its existing MONY and JLTXX funds available on the Solana network to eligible U.S. investors, adding a new network to its multi-network platform for managing tokenized cash. The announcement does not mark the launch of two new funds, but expands access channels for existing products. The two funds have different structures: MONY is a private placement offering eligible investors the opportunity to earn returns in U.S. dollars, while JLTXX is a registered U.S. government money market fund. The company said JLTXX was designed to invest in a way that supports stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act. The move links institutional liquidity management with digital-asset infrastructure, while the products remain aimed at eligible investors.

Subscriptions and redemptions take place through the Morgan Money platform, where investors receive token balances at their blockchain addresses. Paul Brusbylaski, the company’s global head of digital and tokenized asset products, said: "Our clients operate across more than one network, and liquidity should work across them, too." The move reflects the company’s aim to make the product available on networks its clients use, while maintaining an institutional transaction channel through its platform. This arrangement places Solana among the execution routes for transactions in the two funds, alongside a public network that was already in use. Access also remains limited to eligible investors, according to the company’s announcement.

MONY began on the public Ethereum network in December 2025, when JPMorgan Asset Management announced the launch of its first tokenized money market fund. The company said at the time that it was the largest global systemically important bank to launch a tokenized money market fund on a public blockchain. Expanding availability to Solana means the same fund is now accessible across more than one public network, without changing its status as a private placement under Rule 506(c). JLTXX, meanwhile, invests only in U.S. Treasury securities and overnight repurchase agreements fully collateralized by Treasury securities and/or cash. On September 30, 2026, its net asset value was one dollar per share and it recorded a daily yield of 3.73%, while the fund’s assets reached about 628.48 million dollars.

These products are part of JPMorgan Asset Management, which had 4.8 trillion dollars in assets under management on September 30, 2026. At the group level, the company reported that JPMorgan Chase had 5.1 trillion dollars in assets and 372 billion dollars in shareholders’ equity on the same date. In the broader market context, the company said when launching JLTXX that about 30 billion dollars in traditional assets had been tokenized on public blockchain networks as of April 30, 2026, and that assets under management in on-chain products had nearly tripled since the start of 2024. John Donahoe, the company’s head of global liquidity, said investors "are increasingly looking to modernize liquidity management without changing the essence of what they own." On Solana, the value of tokenized real-world assets exceeded 4 billion dollars, spread across 350,000 addresses in August 2026, according to the Solana Foundation.

JLTXX’s link to the GENIUS Act places the product in the context of U.S. stablecoin regulation. The law was signed on July 18, 2025, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission set its effective date as January 18, 2027, or 120 days after the implementing regulations are issued, whichever comes first. SEC Chairman Paul Atkins said when the law was signed that blockchain and crypto-asset technologies could enable greater efficiency, lower costs, transparency and risk mitigation. Regarding transaction controls, JLTXX’s prospectus supplement requires addresses to be included on an allowlist to purchase, redeem or transfer token balances. The supplement said the fund’s tokens became available on Solana immediately, and that Ethereum and Solana were the public networks available at the time.

In markets, JPM shares closed at 331.58 dollars on October 23, 2026, according to EL7 records. The data available in this article do not include share prices for rival banks. The move comes ahead of the Federal Open Market Committee meeting scheduled for October 27 and 28, placing monetary policy developments on next week’s agenda. The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis also set October 29 as the release date for its September personal income and outlays report, which includes the personal consumption expenditures price index and its core measure. These two dates give investors near-term updates on monetary policy and inflation, while the expansion of the funds’ availability on Solana takes effect immediately under the prospectus supplement.
