JPMorgan Asset Management announced on October 22, 2026 that its MONY and JLTXX tokenized money market funds were available on the Solana network to eligible U.S. investors, in an expansion linking liquidity management to the networks its clients use. The company said in its statement that investors could subscribe and redeem through the Morgan Money platform, receiving token balances at their blockchain addresses. The announcement covers both funds, each of which launched on Ethereum. Paul Przybylski, the company's global head of product and digital and tokenized assets, linked the move to client needs, saying: "Our clients operate across more than one network." The announcement was preceded by a JLTXX prospectus supplement dated October 1, 2026, making its tokens available on the public Solana network with immediate effect.

JLTXX's total assets stood at $628.48 million on September 30, 2026, according to JPMorgan Asset Management's fact sheet. Its seven-day yield, calculated under U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission methodology, was 3.79% on the same date. The fund is registered in the United States as a government money market fund and was designed to support stablecoin issuers' needs under the GENIUS Act. It invests in U.S. Treasury securities and overnight repurchase agreements fully collateralized by Treasury securities or cash, with distributions reinvested daily, according to its launch statement. Its policy limits Treasury purchases to securities with remaining maturities of no more than 93 days, or originally issued with maturities no longer than that period. Its prospectus states that "fund shares and token balances are not stablecoins."

JLTXX's launch on Ethereum on May 13, 2026 was accompanied by JPMorgan Asset Management's announcement of a $100 million investment in the fund. Anchorage Digital also participated with an additional investment, according to the launch statement. That followed MONY's launch on Ethereum on December 15, 2025, according to the company's announcement of its first tokenized money market fund product. MONY was structured as a private placement aimed at qualified investors. That structure differs from JLTXX, which the company subsequently introduced as a U.S.-registered government money market fund.

JLTXX's prospectus sets a stated minimum of $1,000,000 to open a token-class account, while reserving the fund's or distributor's right to waive it. The prospectus imposes no minimum on subsequent purchases after the account is opened. According to the prospectus supplement, purchases, redemptions and transfers of token balances are restricted to approved addresses on the allowlist. Investors bear the fees for transactions they initiate and execute themselves by interacting directly with smart contracts. They must therefore hold the network's native asset to pay those fees, while the adviser or its affiliates bear fees for other transactions.

JPMorgan has previously used Solana to issue debt instruments, arranging a $50 million commercial paper deal for Galaxy, according to a person familiar with the matter cited by Reuters. Coinbase Global and Franklin Templeton bought the paper issued in that deal. Commercial paper is short-term, unsecured debt, according to Reuters' description. The news agency said issuance proceeds and redemption payments would be paid in the USDC stablecoin. Circle issues the currency used to settle those payments.

While JLTXX is available on multiple networks, systematic transfers of its token balances between an investor's accounts across different blockchains are not currently available, according to the prospectus supplement. The supplement anticipates that this service could become available in the future, subject to conditions. As for the cost of holding the investment, net annual expenses for the token class are 0.160%, according to the fact sheet. Fee waivers and expense reimbursements are included in the calculation of expenses listed in the fact sheet, according to the fund's prospectus filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The current contractual arrangements for these waivers and reimbursements run through June 30, 2028.
