Electrovac raised its earnings before interest and taxes forecast for fiscal 2026/2027 to between 13 and 14 million euros, according to its official disclosure published on October 21, 2026. In its first-quarter results statement issued in August, the company had reaffirmed a forecast of between 11.0 and 12.0 million euros for the same fiscal year. The revision also covered EBIT adjusted to exclude IPO costs, which the company now expects to reach between 15 and 16 million euros. That compares with a previous adjusted earnings range of between 13.0 and 14.0 million euros, reaffirmed in the August statement. Electrovac kept its revenue forecast for the current fiscal year unchanged at between 120 and 130 million euros.

The higher profit forecast came after the company's preliminary revenue for the first half of fiscal 2026/2027 reached about 61.5 million euros, according to the disclosure. Preliminary EBIT for the same period was 8.2 million euros. The company attributed the revision to its annual outlook to the positive performance of its aerospace, defense and industrial businesses. It described these businesses as high-margin, citing their performance among the specific reasons for raising its earnings forecast. It also said operating performance had exceeded its expectations, alongside the contribution from those businesses to the results underpinning the annual revision.

Results for the first quarter of the current fiscal year had shown revenue rising to 31.5 million euros from 28.1 million euros in the corresponding period of fiscal 2025/2026. EBIT for the quarter rose to 3.2 million euros from 2.8 million euros a year earlier, according to the quarterly results statement. The company attributed the improvement in quarterly earnings to better operating performance. It added that results benefited from "material costs remaining stable," according to its statement. Fixed costs also rose only modestly, another factor the company cited behind the improvement in profitability during the period.

On demand, the book-to-bill ratio in the first quarter of fiscal 2026/2027 was about 2.30, according to the company's statement for that period. Electrovac singled out aerospace, defense and industrial businesses for strong order intake. The company manufactures hermetic glass-to-metal seals, according to the description of its operations on its investor relations page. These products protect safety- and system-critical electronics, a function underpinning their specialized applications. The areas served by the company's products include personal safety applications, alongside aerospace and defense, which were also cited among the businesses driving performance.

The new forecasts follow a fiscal year in which Electrovac's revenue rose to 118.0 million euros in 2025/2026, according to its annual results statement. That compares with revenue of 98.2 million euros in fiscal 2024/2025. EBIT was about 14.0 million euros in the previous fiscal year, compared with 9.1 million euros in the year before that. Over the medium term, the company aims to reach revenue of 150.0 million euros, according to the targets announced with its annual results. Its medium-term profitability target includes an EBIT margin exceeding 12%, alongside the revenue target.

As part of its expansion plans, Electrovac intends to use IPO proceeds to increase its manufacturing capacity in Asia, according to its statement announcing completion of the offering. The announced uses also include establishing a local presence in the United States. The company said this presence was intended to give it access to the U.S. defense market as part of its plan for using the IPO proceeds. On upcoming dates, its financial calendar includes the annual general meeting on October 28, 2026. It then plans to publish its first-half report for fiscal 2026/2027 on November 20, 2026, according to the date announced in its forecast upgrade disclosure.
