The transaction involved acquiring a 100% equity interest in Hubei Qiguang Technology Co., Ltd. for a total consideration of RMB1.8 billion, approximately $266 million.

The acquisition was executed as an all-cash transaction, funded by 70% syndicated bank loans from Chinese commercial banks and 30% from internal sources. ECX closed at $0.8584 on October 2, 2026, as the company seeks to align its hardware and software roadmaps and secure full control over Flyme technology, which is already deployed in 3.5 million production vehicles.
