Bezant Resources Starts Commercial Copper-Gold Production in Namibia

Bezant Resources has commenced commercial production at its Hope & Gorob copper-gold project in Namibia. Proactive Investors reported that the company officially transitioned from the development phase to revenue-generating operations as concentrate production began at the Tsoaxaub Metals plant. Shares of the company rose 9% to 0.15p on October 2, 2026, following the announcement.
The company has mined more than 40,000 tonnes of ore since mid-August 2026, with 10,000 tonnes currently stockpiled at the processing facility. Initial throughput for October 2026 is targeted at a minimum of 9,000 tonnes per month, with copper grades reportedly meeting resource estimates while gold grades exceed forecasts. Planning is underway for a second phase that could increase processing capacity by up to 40%.
