Quanome Technologies (QNME) jumped about 51.6% to roughly $0.97 in Monday after-hours trading, compared with its regular-session close of $0.6396, after the company published a regulatory filing describing a purchase agreement with Compal Electronics.

Quanome said in a Form 8-K that it entered the agreement on September 16, 2026 to buy 32 GPU servers from Compal for an aggregate price of approximately $18.8 million. The equipment is expected to be delivered to a designated U.S. data center to support the company's planned artificial-intelligence computing-infrastructure business.

The agreement requires Quanome to pay 20% after acceptance of the purchase order and 80% before shipment, subject to delivery conditions. Disclosure of planned computing capacity can rapidly change how investors price the stock, but the immediate financial effect is a cash purchase commitment; the filing does not establish a customer contract or $18.8 million of revenue.

QNME traded between $0.45 and $0.715 during the September 21, 2026 regular session before closing at $0.6396. Completion remains conditional on Quanome's payments, Compal's production and delivery, and registration and supply-chain requirements; Quanome also said it plans to file the full agreement with its Form 10-Q for the quarter ending September 30, 2026.
