Non-Oil Exports YoY measures the annual percentage change in the value of goods shipped abroad, excluding crude oil and petroleum-based products. This indicator is crucial for economies attempting to diversify away from energy dependence, such as Saudi Arabia or the UAE. It provides insights into the competitiveness and growth of the domestic manufacturing, agricultural, and service sectors.
The data is sourced from customs records and administrative files, aggregating the total value of all exported commodities while filtering out oil-related Harmonized System (HS) codes.
