Two figures in the memory industry today do not align. Audited financial statements are still rising: Sandisk revenue from 7.355 to 20.248 billion dollars in one fiscal year, and its move from a loss of 1.641 billion to a profit of 11.433 billion, while Micron's gross margin rose from 18.5% to 84.6% over nine quarters. Yet the ticker stopped believing it in June: every memory and storage stock we cover — along with the two semiconductor ETFs — peaked within one calendar week, then fell between 19.6% and 40.1%. But expanding the sample to twenty-three sector names changes the question: eighteen peaked in June, and the same week included analog and logic companies that share no single supply dynamic with memory. This is a full-industry guide for those who have not considered memory before, followed by a measurement that redefines what happened in June.
