Anthropic has officially filed for an IPO on the Nasdaq under the ticker ANT, revealing its first quarterly GAAP operating profit of $974 million. The offering is led by Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley alongside a syndicate of 22 banks. The filing outlines plans to spend between $542 billion and $567 billion on future compute and infrastructure. Additionally, the company aims to establish its own data centers through the 'Anthropic Direct' strategy to reduce reliance on competitors.
The commitments come amid broad reliance on cloud providers: 47% of the company’s sales in 2025 passed through Amazon and Google, which are simultaneously suppliers, investors and competitors.
