Synopsys and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have signed a multi-year licensing agreement for chip design intellectual property. The deal, finalized on September 30, is valued at more than $1 billion. This partnership focuses on providing Amazon with the necessary technology to advance its semiconductor development initiatives.
