Shell and its partners have approved the Phase 2 expansion of the LNG Canada project in Kitimat, British Columbia. The expansion is set to double the facility's production capacity, reaching a total of 28 million tonnes per annum (mtpa). This decision marks a significant milestone for the joint venture in scaling up its liquefied natural gas output.
