ArcelorMittal has informed the Ukrainian government that it will permanently cease operations at its Kryvyi Rih facility due to critical safety risks. The decision follows four missile strikes on the plant over the past five weeks, which caused fatalities and extensive structural damage. The company stated that it is no longer feasible to ensure a safe environment for restarting production.
