People Incorporated announced on September 23 that it has withdrawn its proposal to acquire all public shares of MGM Resorts International. Following this withdrawal, reports on September 24 indicated that MGM Resorts is now considering a potential bid to acquire People Incorporated. People Incorporated currently holds a stake in MGM and owns several media titles, including Food & Wine magazine.
