Alphabet's Google has delayed the release of its flagship Gemini 3.5 Pro AI model by several months after it failed to meet internal performance targets, particularly in coding capabilities. Despite this delay, the company launched three other models on July 22: Gemini 1.5 Flash, Flash-Lite, and the government-exclusive Flash Cyber. The decision to postpone the Pro version stems from technical gaps identified during internal testing throughout July.
