GSK reported positive late-stage trial results for multiple cancer therapies throughout July. An experimental drug for small-cell lung cancer showed promising outcomes, while the drug Jemperli met its primary endpoint in a mid-stage trial for rectal cancer. Results demonstrated a clinically significant rate of patients with no detectable signs of cancer for one year or more post-treatment, as confirmed by interim Phase II AZUR-1 data.
