Meta launched its Muse Image generation model through its Superintelligence Labs, followed by the release of Muse Spark 1.1 and a developer preview. The company aims to compete directly with OpenAI and Anthropic by charging for the use of its AI models. To support these capabilities, Meta announced plans to build a 1-gigawatt data center in Sturgeon County, Alberta, marking its first such facility in Canada.
