On July 1, AeroVironment was awarded a $500 million contract by the U.S. Department of Defense for counter-drone systems. On July 6, a securities fraud class action lawsuit was filed against AeroVironment and its executives for allegedly misleading investors regarding its SCAR contract with the U.S. Space Force. On the same day, AeroVironment was awarded a three-year, $500 million Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
