FedEx reported its fiscal 2026 fourth-quarter financial results after the market close on June 23. FedEx shares declined as the company's earnings guidance for fiscal year 2027 came in below expectations. The fourth quarter was the last to include the freight business before its spin-off into a separate company on June 1. On July 1, the Financial Times reported that CMA CGM is nearing a $1.4 billion deal to acquire FedEx's logistics unit.
