UEC Commences Uranium Production at Burke Hollow Mine in Texas, First in Over a Decade

On April 8, Uranium Energy Corp (UEC) commenced uranium production at the Burke Hollow project in Texas, marking the first new U.S. ISR uranium operation in over a decade. The project received final approval from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to begin operations. UEC is now the only U.S. uranium company with two active producing ISR hub-and-spoke platforms (Burke Hollow and Christensen Ranch).
