On April 8, Robinhood was selected as the broker and trustee for the yet-to-be-released Trump Accounts, in partnership with the U.S. Treasury and BNY Mellon. CEO Vlad Tenev stated that this move positions Robinhood at the forefront of the next generation of investors. On April 13, Robinhood was also chosen to help introduce a new type of investment account for children.
