On April 8, Applied Materials introduced advanced chipmaking systems including the Precision™ Selective Nitride PECVD and Trillium™ ALD systems. These systems are designed for 3D Gate-All-Around transistors and 2nm nodes and beyond. The new technologies aim to reduce parasitic capacitance and enhance chip performance-per-watt for AI computing applications.
