SinterCast signed an agreement to license its Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) technology and supply equipment to a major European truck manufacturer for a 13-litre engine platform. Benzinga reported that the agreement aims to implement SinterCast's technology in heavy-duty engine production at a captive foundry in Northern Europe. The deal is expected to increase the company's series production by more than 20%.

The agreement includes an order for the System 4000 Plus, targeted for installation and commissioning in November 2026, with production starting before year-end. The company stated that the new volumes, combined with previously announced production at other licensed foundries, will support its target of reaching eight million Engine Equivalents by 2031. This expansion follows the broader industry adoption of CGI technology for improved fuel economy and reduced emissions.
