The Iranian Army announced it shot down a US MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle over Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz. Haberler.com reported that Iran's military targeted the drone using its integrated air defense network, labeling the aircraft as belonging to the "invading American enemy."
