Websol Energy reported a 73% year-on-year increase in standalone net profit to ₹80.21 crore for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027. According to scanx.trade, revenue from operations jumped 114.6% to ₹361.02 crore, while absolute EBITDA grew 77.3% to reach ₹128.14 crore.
The company achieved debt-free status after repaying its entire ₹110 crore term loan to IREDA, with total borrowings dropping to zero as of September 30, 2026. Alongside the financial results, the board of Websol Energy approved an entry into the energy trading business by subscribing to 40% of the equity in Bright Earth Cell Private Limited.
