Honasa Consumer reported operating revenue of 731 crore rupees in the second quarter of fiscal 2027, up about 36% year on year, which it said was its highest growth since listing. The results cover the quarter ended 30 September 2026 and were announced by the company on 6 November. Underlying volume growth was 31.3% during the quarter, alongside revenue growth. Profit after tax reached 73 crore rupees, with a margin of 10.0%. The figures combine broader sales and improved profitability in the same period.

A comparison of the two quarters shows operating revenue rising from 538 crore rupees in the second quarter of fiscal 2026 to 731 crore in the corresponding quarter of fiscal 2027. For the first half, revenue was 1,487 crore rupees, compared with 1,133 crore in the first half of fiscal 2026, up 31.2% year on year. EBITDA rose to 93 crore rupees from 48 crore in the corresponding quarter, an increase of 95.6%. The company said EBITDA nearly doubled year on year. It reached 203 crore rupees in the first half, compared with 93 crore in the corresponding period.

The EBITDA margin improved to 12.7% in the second quarter, compared with 8.9% a year earlier, an increase of 389 basis points. The company attributed the improvement to a more favourable channel mix, with a larger contribution from profitable offline channels and quick commerce through business-to-business channels. It said advertising and promotional spending as a share of revenue declined during the period. It added that the larger scale of the business provided operating leverage across overhead expenses. The company links the change in sales mix and spending efficiency to the improved margin.

Honasa said its focus categories grew by more than 40% in the second quarter and accounted for more than 80% of its business. It said these categories grew across its key channels. By brand, Mamaearth continued to post growth in the high teens, while younger brands grew by more than 45% year on year. The company said The Derma Co. continued to grow profitably. Chief Executive Varun Alagh cited momentum across general trade, modern trade and e-commerce as he discussed revenue growth of about 36%.

The expansion extended to the distribution network, with the company reaching about 3.2 lakh FMCG retail outlets in India in September 2026. The number of outlets reached by the company rose 26% year on year. Modern trade also recorded year-on-year growth of more than 40% in offtake during the second quarter of fiscal 2027. These indicators are consistent with the chief executive’s reference to momentum in modern trade, general trade and e-commerce. The reach and offtake figures provide context for sales growth across the company’s sales and distribution channels.

Before the results announcement, Honasa shares closed at 481.75 rupees on 5 November 2026, up 4.33% during the session. The following day, the company announced that its board had approved the unaudited results for the quarter and first half ended 30 September 2026. The announcement covered both the quarterly period and the first six months of fiscal 2027. The approval placed the results for both periods within the disclosure issued on 6 November. First-half figures showed operating revenue of 1,487 crore rupees and EBITDA of 203 crore rupees.
