Attendo increased operating profit to SEK 706 million in the third quarter of 2026, from SEK 648 million in the same period a year earlier, according to its interim report. The operating profit margin was 14.4%, compared with 13.6% a year earlier. The company also recorded lease-adjusted operating profit of SEK 557 million, against SEK 482 million in the third quarter of 2025. The margin on this measure rose to 11.3% from 10.1%. The company said the quarter was its strongest to date and that its financial performance continued to exceed its targets.

Net sales were SEK 4,914 million, up 3.1% year on year, while organic growth was 1.3%. Attendo said growth in continuing operations was 6.0% after the exclusions defined by the company. The improvement in results came mainly from Scandinavia, where sales growth in continuing core operations was 6%, the report said. The company noted that the termination of some home care and outsourcing contracts in the region weighed on overall growth. Net profit rose to SEK 381 million from SEK 333 million a year earlier, while diluted earnings per share increased to SEK 2.68 from SEK 2.23.

Attendo Chief Executive Officer Vibecke Holmqvist attributed the result to years of work to improve care quality, strengthen operations and build a more stable and efficient organization. She said, "Our strong result in the third quarter reflects years of systematic work to improve quality, strengthen our operations and build a more stable and efficient organization." The company added that improving efficiency and margins would remain a priority, alongside accelerating investment in new care capacity. For the first nine months of 2026, lease-adjusted operating profit rose to SEK 1,203 million from SEK 920 million in the corresponding period. The lease-adjusted margin for the same period improved to 8.4% from 6.5%.

At AUREA, activity continued to improve in the third quarter after an unfavorable environment in the first quarter and a clear rebound in the second quarter, according to the company's statement. AUREA attributed the development to "a more favorable environment in raw material markets," with hydrocarbon and metal prices rising amid international geopolitical tensions. Revenue in the metals and alloys segment rose 23% on a like-for-like basis, supported by supply tensions and higher aluminum prices. But the company said visibility on the order books for copper powders remained limited. Revenue in the oil derivatives segment increased 24% as oil prices rose, despite slower collection volumes in an inflationary environment.

AUREA said its activities in treating oil waste and contaminated water continued to grow, while the rubber and development business was affected by a decline at Roll Gom, the segment's largest contributor. The company shut the site over the summer for restructuring and said the move was intended to prepare the business to return to profitability starting in 2027. At Attendo, the company added 123 places in Finland during the quarter, then opened a further 174 places in October. It had about 310 places under construction, 144 of which are expected to open in November and December. Among the next announced dates, AUREA will publish fourth-quarter revenue on February 11, 2027, after the market close.
