European TTF natural gas prices fell by 2.2% to reach €86.14 per megawatt-hour. OilPrice reported that front-month contract prices hit their lowest level in two weeks on the morning of Thursday, November 5, 2026. The decline is attributed to market expectations that the United States will pursue a diplomatic approach toward Iran rather than military escalation.

The downward movement extended losses from the previous day, with prices now significantly below the level of €101.82 per megawatt-hour recorded at the end of last week. Analysts from ING noted that the supply situation following the winter period will largely depend on the potential resumption of LNG flows from the Persian Gulf, as QatarEnergy has extended force majeure on supplies through the end of December 2026.
