The growth indicates rising adoption of Ripple's dollar-pegged token, with approximately $1.72 billion currently residing on Ethereum and about $870 million on the XRP Ledger. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse stated that RLUSD is designed to compete with other stablecoins while complementing the broader XRP ecosystem.
