Fusemachines Revenue Rises 2.8% to $1.85 Million in Third Quarter
Key Facts
Fusemachines reported on November 3 results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, posting revenue of $1.85 million and a GAAP net loss of $4.6 million, or $0.15 per basic and diluted share. Revenue rose 2.8% from the second quarter, when it was $1.79 million, according to the company’s statement published via GlobeNewswire. But net loss widened from $2.8 million, or $0.10 per share, in the previous quarter. The company said the third-quarter loss included a non-cash $2.2 million charge from a change in the fair value of a forward purchase derivative liability. Revenue growth and improvement in some operating measures therefore coincided with a larger quarterly net loss.
At the operating level, GAAP loss fell 14% to $2.3 million in the third quarter, from $2.7 million in the second quarter. The company said operating expenses declined 9.8% to $3.3 million, compared with $3.7 million in the previous period. Adjusted EBITDA loss, a non-GAAP measure, also narrowed 39.2% to $1.4 million, from $2.3 million in the second quarter. These figures show quarter-on-quarter improvement in operating loss, expenses and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, alongside higher revenue. Net loss, however, moved in the opposite direction over the same period, rising to $4.6 million from $2.8 million and including a non-cash item of $2.2 million.
Chief Executive Samir Maskey said in the company’s statement: "Our cost-cutting initiatives are delivering tangible results, allowing us to significantly reduce operating losses while continuing to grow revenue." Maskey linked cost cuts to an improvement in operating loss, while pointing to continued revenue growth. That message is consistent with operating expenses falling to $3.3 million from $3.7 million in the previous quarter, and operating loss declining to $2.3 million from $2.7 million. Adjusted EBITDA loss was also $1.4 million, after $2.3 million in the second quarter. The company’s shares closed at $0.381 on November 2, in the session before the results were announced on November 3.
