Bullish Has Not Confirmed Aptos Selection; Coalition Sets 4 Priorities for Tokenized Stocks

Key Facts

1Bullish and Equiniti announced the coalition’s founding on Sept. 24, 2026, with Alpaca, Apex Fintech Solutions and DriveWealth among the early participants.
2QRT, Vertalo and zerohash joined the coalition on Oct. 26, 2026.
3The coalition identified 4 initial areas of work.
4Bullish announced trading in its tokenized shares on Aug. 12, 2026.

The report that Bullish selected the Aptos network as a partner for its tokenized stock service on Nov. 3, 2026, could not be verified, and the available information showed no confirmation of the selection from Bullish or Aptos. That comes as Bullish announced on Oct. 26 that Qube Research & Technologies, Vertalo and zerohash had joined the Issuer Sponsored Token Coalition, which it founded with Equiniti on Sept. 24. Alpaca, Apex Fintech Solutions and DriveWealth were among the coalition’s early participants, according to Bullish announcements. The company said participation is nonbinding and does not require a commercial agreement, the issuance or listing of a security, or the provision of liquidity. The announced facts therefore do not establish a partnership between Bullish and Aptos or details of shareholder rights management and regulatory compliance attributed to it.

The coalition focuses on linking tokenized securities to the issuer’s official shareholder register, helping preserve ownership rights and entitlements tied to corporate actions and protect investors, according to a Bullish statement. The company identified 4 initial areas of work: issuer and shareholder rights, interoperability, adoption infrastructure and expansion of the market ecosystem. This comes as Bullish moves to build infrastructure for tokenized stocks; on Aug. 12, it said participants had traded its tokenized BLSH shares on its platform against a dollar-linked stablecoin. Bullish described the transaction as the first trading of tokenized shares on a digital asset platform regulated by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission. It said trading on its platform is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with near-instant settlement instead of the traditional T+1 settlement cycle.

Aptos’s connection to tokenized assets appeared in a separate earlier announcement: in May 2026, the network and Archax launched an integration enabling more than 100 tokenized securities to be transferred to Aptos. Aptos said the first product planned under the integration was MembersCap’s tokenized global reinsurance income fund. But that announcement does not link Aptos to Bullish’s service or its coalition. As part of Bullish’s broader plans, the company said in July that it had assembled components for a tokenized securities lifecycle, including a regulated trading platform, a proposed $4.2 billion acquisition of Equiniti and regulatory approval from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission. The acquisition was expected to close in January 2027, subject to approvals and customary conditions; Bullish also said some elements of its proposed infrastructure, including convertibility between traditional and onchain markets, remained under development.

Bullish said it would release its third-quarter 2026 financial results on Nov. 18, 2026, and hold an investor call the same day at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The announced date sets the company’s next financial disclosure after its announcements on the coalition and tokenized trading infrastructure, without itself confirming the selection of Aptos or announcing an agreement with it.
