Analytics Insight reported that the German company aims to reach EUR 5 billion in annual chip sales by 2030, driven by surging demand in artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation.
The strategic shift moves the chip activities out of the Mobility Electronics division to create a more focused business capable of serving external partners. Bosch currently operates a network of approximately 40 semiconductor sites worldwide and intends to expand its Penang test center in Malaysia by the mid-2030s.
