Securitize Adds 13 Tokenized Stocks, Bringing Total Offering to 25
Key Facts
Securitize has expanded its offering of on-chain trading in U.S. stocks by adding 13 stocks, bringing the total to 25, according to a company announcement on November 2, 2026. The new list includes names such as Exxon Mobil, Disney and Uber, as well as GameStop, Johnson & Johnson and Lockheed Martin. The move follows the launch of the initial offering and expands the options available to eligible investors in the United States, the European Union and other permitted jurisdictions. Access remains subject to securities laws, sanctions requirements and other restrictions. The company said the expansion brings the total number of securities available for tokenized trading on its platform to 25 stocks.
The additions include Arista Networks, Flex, Exxon Mobil, GameStop, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, Lumentum, Merck, Salesforce, Seagate, Texas Instruments, Disney and Uber. The group spans several sectors, from energy and industry to pharmaceuticals, technology, entertainment and transportation. Among the names that may draw interest from investors in the region are Exxon Mobil, Disney and Uber, along with GameStop, which is widely followed by retail investors. The expanded list does not change the eligibility requirements the company sets based on an investor’s location and the rules that apply to them. Nor does the inclusion of these securities mean the issuing companies participated in issuing the tokens or endorsed the offering.
The product is based on a security entitlement backed by one underlying share per token, according to Securitize, and includes the economic rights applicable to the share class, such as distributions and voting rights where provided. But holders of the entitlements do not become registered shareholders of the issuing companies unless they convert their entitlements into the shares themselves. The company said the underlying companies did not issue or endorse the tokens, and the offering did not involve the issuance of new shares. This structure creates a legal distinction between holding an entitlement linked to a share and being directly registered as a shareholder in the company. The actual rights are tied to the product’s terms and the relevant share class.
Secondary trading takes place through Securitize Markets, which the company describes as a broker registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation. Securitize says this trading operates under existing U.S. securities laws and does not need to rely on the innovation exemption the SEC issued for tokenized securities trading platforms. This route differs from tokenized stock trading on TSV platforms, which are covered by the conditional exemption. The SEC’s order limits the number of tokens and trading volume on those platforms, and requires them to verify that holders of tokenized stocks have the same rights and privileges as holders of corresponding traditional shares. These requirements remain part of the regulatory framework for those platforms.
On September 17, 2026, the SEC issued an order granting TSV platforms a temporary, conditional exemption from the definition of an “exchange” to facilitate trading in tokenized NMS stocks. The exemption expires five years after publication of the order, according to the SEC’s statement. Commissioner Hester Peirce said the exemptions “enable market participants to experiment in preparation for a future in which on-chain trading of tokenized stocks becomes commonplace.” The SEC requested public comments on potential amendments and next steps, leaving the framework open to review. Securitize said trading in its secondary product does not rely on this exemption.
The company is also testing potential future trading routes on the planned NYSE digital platform and OKXICE, a platform dedicated to tokenized securities. Neither platform has launched, and trading on them remains subject to regulatory approvals and platform review and may not take place. Securitize Stocks trading currently available takes place during extended hours, with a plan to move later to availability around the clock, 24/7, without specifying a date. The company selected the Solana network for trading, with transactions to be settled in USDC. Securitize said tokenized assets on its platform totaled about $5 billion as of September 30, 2026.
