IDEXX Laboratories reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $1,214 million, up 10% on both a reported and organic basis, according to the company’s statement. It said double-digit organic revenue growth was led by strong growth in test volume, alongside contributions from innovation and commercial execution. The company raised its full-year revenue outlook while lowering its expected reported operating margin range. Mike Erickson, president and chief executive officer, said innovations are helping clinics "detect diseases earlier and operate more efficiently." The update puts diagnostic growth and margin expectations at the forefront of the company’s quarterly results.

Diluted EPS was $4.01 for the quarter, up 18% on a reported basis and 22% on a comparable basis, according to the statement. This performance added to the results picture alongside revenue growth of 10% on both bases. The company said strong growth in test volume led organic growth, with contributions from innovation and commercial execution. Erickson’s remarks link the role of innovations to enabling clinics to detect diseases earlier and operate more efficiently. These factors provide the company’s explanation of the drivers of quarterly revenue growth and EPS gains.

IDEXX raised its 2026 revenue outlook to $4,741–$4,767 million, compared with a previous range of $4,700–$4,745 million. It also increased its organic revenue growth outlook to 9.3%–10.0%, from a previous estimate of 8.5%–9.7%. The company included $5 million related to the CoVet acquisition at the midpoint of its revenue outlook and said the updated guidance incorporates the effects of the acquisition. The update thus combines higher organic revenue estimates with the addition of the acquisition’s impact to the annual outlook. The new ranges provide a direct comparison with the company’s previous estimates for the same year.

By contrast, the company lowered its 2026 reported operating margin outlook to 32.1%–32.3%, from 32.3%–32.5% previously. IDEXX expects full-year margin expansion of 50 to 70 basis points. The margin adjustment moves in the opposite direction from the increases to the annual revenue range and organic growth outlook. The company is scheduled to hold a session for investors and analysts at the VMX conference in Orlando on January 18, 2027, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. It said the session will highlight its new MultiCue Dx point-of-care analyzer.
