BrightSpring Health Services reported on October 30 results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, and raised its full-year revenue and Adjusted EBITDA guidance. Revenue was $4.213 billion, up 26.4% from $3.334 billion in the same period last year. Gross profit rose 32.3% to $519 million from $392 million. Chief Executive John Russo said the results reflect “our team’s commitment to patient care and operational execution” across its pharmacy and provider services businesses. The updated guidance comes as revenue and profitability grow year over year, while the company raised both ends of its full-year forecast ranges.

Net income from continuing operations was $101 million in the third quarter, compared with $38 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, rose 42% to $228 million from $160 million. In the second quarter, the company reported revenue of $3.873 billion, up 23% year over year, and net income of $87 million, compared with $9 million in the same period. Gross profit that quarter also rose to $493 million from $375 million, while Adjusted EBITDA increased 44.2% to $206 million from $143 million. The two quarters’ results show year-over-year growth in revenue and Adjusted EBITDA, with growth rates differing between the periods.

Third-quarter revenue was split between the pharmacy segment, which generated $3.732 billion, up 26%, and provider services, which recorded $481 million, up 31% from the year-earlier quarter. In operations, the average number of daily home health care patients rose to 47,256 from 29,980, an increase of 58%. The number of beneficiaries receiving rehabilitation services increased 9% to 7,574 from 6,932 in the same period. The performance makes both segments sources of revenue growth cited by the company, while home health recorded the largest operational increase among the metrics in the filing. Russo said operational execution and patient care extended across the pharmacy and provider services businesses.

BrightSpring raised its fiscal 2026 revenue forecast to $15.900–$16.125 billion and its Adjusted EBITDA forecast to $850–$860 million. Guidance issued on July 31 had put revenue at $15.100 billion to $15.425 billion and Adjusted EBITDA at $820 million to $845 million. Both the low and high ends of the two ranges therefore increased. The company said the guidance excludes its Community Living business and future transactions that have not closed. The Adjusted EBITDA forecast includes an expected contribution of about $35 million in 2026 from the Amedisys and LHC branches it acquired.

The company’s disclosures show that the Amedisys and LHC branches added $76.1 million to revenue and $6.6 million to operating income in the third quarter. The transaction covers 110 branches; the acquisition of 103 branches was completed on December 1, 2025, followed by four branches on December 31 of the same year. The company expected to complete the acquisition of the remaining three branches during fiscal 2026, subject to customary approvals and conditions. Leverage was 1.79 times on September 30, down from 2.15 times on June 30. Russo said the company sees itself as well positioned to make a greater impact and deliver sustainable growth in 2027 and beyond, supported by multiple growth and operational drivers.

The date for the third-quarter results release and investor call had been set in advance for October 30, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time. The company released the results on that date, in line with the announced call time. The announcement included financial and operational results for the quarter ended September 30, along with updated annual guidance. The update covered 2026 revenue and Adjusted EBITDA ranges. The company also presented its expected contribution from the acquired branches in its annual Adjusted EBITDA estimate.
