On October 29, Timken India approved its unaudited results for the second quarter of fiscal 2027, which ran from July 1 to September 30, reporting consolidated revenue from operations of 986.04 crore rupees and consolidated net profit of 120.895 crore rupees. The results showed consolidated profit before tax of 162.873 crore rupees. Consolidated basic earnings per share were 16.07 rupees for the quarter. These figures relate to the group on a consolidated basis, which the company distinguished from standalone results in its disclosure. The results underwent a limited review by statutory auditor Deloitte, which issued an unqualified report.

For the six months ended September 30, consolidated revenue from operations reached 1,929.36 crore rupees, and consolidated net profit was 240.554 crore rupees. These figures cover the first half of fiscal 2027, including the quarter the company has now reported. The disclosure did not provide a separate breakdown of the group’s business segments, as the company said it operates within one primary reportable segment: bearings and related products and services. Accordingly, it did not present separate results for activities within that segment. The company also said that consolidated comparisons for the corresponding period ended September 2025 were compiled by management and had not been reviewed by the statutory auditor.

The company’s disclosures also included Timken India’s acquisition of all shares in Timken GGB Technology, making the latter a wholly owned subsidiary. The company said its unaudited consolidated results had gone through review procedures by the audit committee and board of directors. The results come as India’s industrial production index recorded annual growth of 6.7% in September 2026. Manufacturing rose 7.6%, while electricity and gas supply grew 11.2%, according to India’s Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. These figures provide context for industrial activity in India during the month in which the company’s financial quarter ended.

Industrial production index growth had reached 8.0% in August before slowing to 6.7% in September, according to government data. Nevertheless, 17 of the 23 manufacturing industry groups recorded positive annual growth in September. India is scheduled to release its first estimate of the industrial production index for October on November 30, 2026. Timken India has also scheduled an investor call to discuss its second-quarter results for October 30 at 4 p.m. India time. The call follows the board meeting that approved the results by one day.
