Key Facts

2The company cut its 2026 EBITDA forecast to €10–14 million from €12–18 million.
3Vecoplan revenue was €67.4 million in the first half of 2026, down 9.6%, and it recorded negative EBITDA of €0.6 million.
4The company set November 10, 2026, as the date for publishing its third-quarter financial information.

MAX Automation lowered its outlook for fiscal 2026, setting a revenue range of €300–330 million, compared with a previous range of €320–370 million, according to a company statement issued on October 30. The company also revised its expected EBITDA range to €10–14 million, from €12–18 million previously. This means the lower and upper bounds of its revenue and operating-profit forecasts are now below the previous ranges. The company had reaffirmed those forecasts in July, expecting performance at the lower end of both ranges at the time. The latest revision updates the targets that had been in place since that announcement.

The company attributed the forecast reduction mainly to the performance of its Vecoplan unit, saying its business fell short of expectations because of lower orders. The statement also cited higher restructuring costs at Vecoplan as a reason for the revision. It also referred to restructuring costs at NSM + Jücker, extending the reported burden to another group unit. The company said Vecoplan was "falling behind expectations because of lower orders," according to a translation of the statement's substance. MAX Automation thus linked its revenue and profitability revision to developments at both units and to restructuring-related costs.

First-half 2026 data show weakness in Vecoplan's results: revenue was €67.4 million, down 9.6% from the year-earlier period. The unit recorded negative EBITDA of €0.6 million over the same period. These figures put Vecoplan's performance in the context of the new outlook, alongside the company's explanation citing lower orders and higher restructuring costs. The group's July outlook had ranged from €320–370 million in revenue and €12–18 million in EBITDA. The ranges announced in October lower those target levels for fiscal 2026.

The market is awaiting the company's next disclosure: MAX Automation said its third-quarter 2026 financial statement will be released on November 10. This will be the next upcoming date on which the company presents financial information for the third quarter. The disclosure follows the annual outlook update on October 30 and the release of first-half data showing lower Vecoplan revenue and an operating loss. When released, the third-quarter results will be the latest disclosed data for the current fiscal year. The company set the publication date in its outlook revision statement.
