Componenta updated its outlook for the 2026 financial year on 22 October, setting sales at €135–138 million and adjusted operating result at €7.6–8.4 million. The company published its business review for January to September on 30 October and held an online presentation by its CEO that day at 10:00 EET. The outlook places annual sales alongside an adjusted operating result above the 2025 level, when sales were €115.7 million and adjusted operating result was €4.3 million. The company said sales and profitability improved in the first nine months amid business growth, while keeping its full-year outlook in two ranges. The dates mean the outlook update preceded publication of the nine-month review by eight days.

Componenta attributed sales growth mainly to higher volumes, driven by new orders, the start of production of new products and a slight recovery in market conditions. The company linked this expansion to improved demand for its products and new launches, as well as a limited improvement in the market environment. The CEO, however, said productivity was slightly affected in the third quarter as production began on several new products. The company also prepared for higher demand through investments in production capacity and resources, particularly to meet the needs of the energy and defense equipment sectors. These operating costs associated with launches and preparations for demand help explain their limited impact on quarterly productivity alongside the improvement in business.

Sales were spread across several industries, led by machine building, which accounted for 33% of sales in the first nine months. Energy ranked next at 24%, followed by defense equipment at 17% and agricultural machinery at 16%. This distribution places the energy and defense sectors among the sources of demand the company said it was preparing to serve by expanding capacity and resources. Agricultural machinery’s share also makes the segment’s performance part of the sector picture, even though its recovery remains limited. The CEO said strong demand in energy and defense equipment, and improved visibility, support the company’s outlook, while the agricultural recovery remained slower.

In agricultural machinery, Componenta said demand and production remain low in Europe, and that its preparations for the sector are based on expectations of very modest growth in 2027. This contrasts with the strong demand the CEO cited in energy and defense equipment, pointing to divergent paths across the company’s sectors. The disclosure did not describe this divergence as a guarantee that business growth would continue, but presented the sector outlooks as part of management’s review. The 2026 financial outlook sets ranges for sales and adjusted operating result, while agricultural machinery remains contingent on a European recovery that has yet to materialize. The announced online presentation by the CEO was scheduled for 30 October at 10:00 EET.
