Supernus Posts Record Third-Quarter Revenue of $226.8 Million, Up 18%
Key Facts
Supernus posted record revenue of $226.8 million in the third quarter of 2026, up 18% from the same period a year earlier, according to results published by the company on October 29. The increase coincided with growth in revenue from its four products it calls growth products, to $192.2 million, up 29% year over year. The group comprises Kynmobi, Gocovri, Zurzuvae and Onapgo. The figures come days before Supernus is expected to complete its merger with Indivior, making the standalone outlook directly tied to the deal’s progress.
Comparison with the second quarter shows revenue continued to grow, though at a slower annual rate: Supernus revenue in the second quarter was $219.1 million, up 32% from the corresponding quarter of 2025. In the third quarter, total revenue rose 18%, while revenue from the four growth products increased 29%. Chief Executive Jack Khattar said in a statement on the first-half results that performance reflected “the continued strength and momentum of our growth products, and continued execution of our commercial strategy.” The remark appeared in the second-quarter statement and provides context for how management characterized the group’s performance before the latest results. The four products are Kynmobi, Gocovri, Zurzuvae and Onapgo, but the statement provided here does not break out third-quarter sales for each product.
These figures show the contribution of three of the four growth products to results, while Supernus puts the group’s combined revenue at $192.2 million.
On October 29, Supernus raised its annual revenue outlook as a standalone company, after issuing its previous guidance on August 4. The company tied the validity of the outlook to completion of the merger: if the deal closes on the expected date of November 2, the standalone guidance will no longer apply. Supernus and Indivior shareholders approved the merger on October 15, and the company expects the new entity to begin trading as Supernus under the ticker “SUPN” on November 3. The company’s transition to the post-deal period will therefore come only days after the results announcement and outlook update. The statement did not provide a specific shareholder approval percentage.
The companies expect annual cost savings of $125 million after the merger. When they announced the deal on August 3, they estimated combined annual revenue of about $2.2 billion for their pharmaceutical portfolios. That figure relates to the companies’ combined revenue, not an estimate of the new entity’s first year of operating revenue. The merger brings together their central nervous system drug portfolios, as the entity prepares to trade under the Supernus name and ticker “SUPN.” In drug development, Supernus expects to begin a Phase 1 study of candidate “SPN-443” in healthy adult volunteers by the end of 2026. The study will include single and multiple doses, the company said.
