Amundi said accounting net income attributable to the group was €675 million in the third quarter of 2026, including a capital gain of about €300 million from the sale of 10% of its stake in Indian joint venture SBI FM. Adjusted net income, meanwhile, was €409 million, up 20.2% year on year. The gap highlights the deal’s effect on the accounting result, while adjusted income reflects the business’s performance during the quarter. Chief Executive Valérie Baudson said strong inflows supported growth of more than 20% in adjusted net income in the third quarter and the nine-month period. That puts operating growth alongside the exceptional gain from the stake sale.

Net inflows during the quarter were €46 billion excluding transfers linked to a large institutional mandate in India, Amundi said. The company recorded €102 billion in net inflows during the first nine months of the year. The quarterly figures show that transfers under the Indian mandate affected the reported inflow reading, while excluding them presents other inflows during the period. Amundi said strong inflows supported growth in adjusted net income in the quarter and the nine-month period. The nine-month total provides broader context for the third-quarter result within the company’s performance since the start of the year.

Adjusted revenue rose to €908 million, up 11.3% from the third quarter of 2025, according to the company’s statement. Adjusted pre-tax income was €535 million, up 20.1% year on year. Net management fees, which rose 13.1% to €845 million, were among the sources of revenue growth. Amundi attributed the increase in fees to continued inflows and asset growth. Pre-tax income growing faster than revenue points to an improved adjusted result during the quarter, alongside higher fees linked to asset management.

Retail clients contributed about €21 billion in quarterly inflows, while Northern Europe led the regions with €18 billion, according to Reuters via MarketScreener. By product, inflows into active management accelerated to €14 billion, driven mainly by fixed-income and multi-asset strategies. Exchange-traded funds recorded €17 billion in inflows during the period. These figures break down inflows by client base, region and investment style. Amundi Technology revenue also rose 17% year on year in the third quarter, the company said.

Amundi shares closed at €91.05 on Oct. 29, up 1.96%, according to the company’s shareholder center. The closing price offers a view of the market on the day before the results announcement, but does not by itself determine the results’ effect on the share price. Amundi set Feb. 2, 2027, as the date for announcing its fourth-quarter and full-year 2026 results. The annual results will show the company’s performance for the full period following growth in adjusted net income in the third quarter and first nine months. They will also provide a subsequent update to the financial figures the company announced for the year.
