Value of assets distributed on Solana reaches $5.19 billion, up 20.75% monthly
Key Facts
The value of assets distributed on the Solana network reached $5.19 billion on October 29, 2026, up 20.75% from 30 days earlier, according to the RWA.xyz dashboard. The metric describes the value of assets distributed on the network and does not represent the market capitalization of the SOL token. The dashboard showed that the number of holders of tokenized real-world assets reached 848,306, an increase of 21.06% over the same period. Transfers of these assets totaled $11.82 billion over 30 days, up 44.64% from the previous period. The platform counted 3,504 assets in its data for the Solana network.
Comparison with previous months shows the recorded value on the network expanding. The Solana Foundation said the value of tokenized real-world assets reached $3.7 billion across 313,000 holders in late July, excluding stablecoins from that figure. In August, the value exceeded $4 billion, and more than 350,000 addresses held tokenized real-world assets by late in the month, according to the foundation. Its September recap then reported a value of $4.6 billion across more than 3,000 available assets. These figures differ in definition and date: the July estimate covers non-stablecoin assets, while the October dashboard shows the value of assets distributed. The asset categories cited include Treasuries, public equities, private credit, reinsurance, sovereign debt, commodities and liquidity funds.
Trading in these assets also recorded elevated activity during the third quarter of 2026. Blockworks Advisory said trading volume for tokenized assets on Solana decentralized exchanges reached a record $8.1 billion, up 26% from the second quarter. Tokenized equities accounted for $7.1 billion, or 88% of that activity, after their trading volume rose 40% from $5.1 billion in the previous quarter. The Solana Foundation estimated tokenized equity trading at about $4.4 billion in September, while their supply stood at $684 million, up 47% in three weeks. Blockworks said the number of tokenized equity holders rose 88% in the first 12 days of September to exceed 800,000.
The ecosystem includes institutional products alongside equities and bonds. The Solana Foundation said BlackRock's BUIDL fund is available on the network through Securitize, and that more than $600 million of it was held on Solana when its report was published on July 30, 2026. In September, the foundation announced Project Harmonia to connect Allfunds' institutional fund distribution network with Solana. Allfunds connects more than 3,300 asset managers and financial institutions and managed about €1.9 trillion as of June 30, 2026, according to the foundation. Regarding tokenized equities, the foundation said Solana hosted more than half of their total trading volume during 2026 through October 6. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission also announced on September 17 a temporary, conditional exemption for certain platforms to trade nationally listed stocks through licensed liquidity pools, provided holders of tokenized stocks have the same rights and privileges as holders of equivalent traditional share classes.
The next step for Project Harmonia is to launch the first tranche through the Allfunds network and Solana, targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027; applications closed on October 24, 2026, according to the Solana Foundation. On issuance tools, Metaplex announced the MPL-3643 standard on September 29 for issuing and managing restricted real-world assets and tokenized securities directly on the network. It said the standard was in a limited alpha phase at launch, with integrations announced with Orca, Raydium, Solflare, Jupiter and Phantom. One institutional securities transaction on the network dates to December 2025, when JPMorgan said it arranged a U.S. commercial paper issuance for Galaxy Digital, purchased by Coinbase and Franklin Templeton. On the regulatory front, the U.S. agency said the exemption granted to platforms expires five years after publication and requested public comment on potential amendments and next steps.
