Net Insight reported third-quarter results on October 29, 2026, with sales of SEK 103.9 million for the period from July to September. Sales fell 29% from SEK 147.1 million in the same period a year earlier, while the decline excluding currency effects was 30.0%, according to the company's interim report. Management said the quarter remained financially weak, despite revenue improving from the previous quarter. The sequential improvement therefore coincided with a clear year-on-year contraction in sales. The report also cited commercial progress in the media and time synchronization sectors.

The operating loss was SEK 5.1 million, compared with operating profit of SEK 22.0 million a year earlier. The quarter's results included restructuring costs of SEK 2.1 million; excluding them, the operating loss was SEK 3.1 million. The decline extended beyond operating results, with the company posting a net loss of SEK 8.0 million, against net profit of SEK 21.2 million in the third quarter of 2025. Cash flow from operating activities turned negative at SEK 10.1 million, from positive SEK 21.7 million a year earlier. The figures show pressure extending from revenue to profitability and cash flow during the period.

On a quarterly basis, sales rose from SEK 91.3 million in the second quarter to SEK 103.9 million in the third. The second-quarter report had recorded a 36.0% year-on-year decline in sales, from SEK 142.6 million to SEK 91.3 million. The operating loss in that quarter was SEK 25.9 million, compared with a loss of SEK 9.7 million in the corresponding period of 2025. Revenue therefore improved sequentially while remaining below its year-earlier level, and the company continued to post operating losses. The company said a higher share of software revenue bolstered gross margin in the third quarter.

In its time synchronization business, Net Insight said the unit expanded its work with two clients in the defense and data center sectors, both new areas for the business. Management also said the company continued to make commercial progress in the media sector, alongside time synchronization. The company's targets for 2023–2027 call for average annual organic sales growth of 15% and a target operating margin of 20%. A conference to present the report was scheduled for October 29 at 09:00 Central European Summer Time, with CEO Andreas Eriksson and CFO Cecilia Högård Håk participating. The next date on the company's financial calendar is publication of its 2026 year-end report on February 10, 2027, at 07:30.
