Bausch Health reported that adjusted diluted earnings per share rose to $1.77 in the third quarter of 2026, compared with $1.16 in the same period of 2025, a year-over-year increase of 53%, according to a company statement issued on October 28. The increase put improved earnings per share at the forefront of the company’s reported quarterly results. Chief Executive Thomas Appio said cash generation during the quarter supported a reduction of more than $500 million in net debt. He added that the results gave the company confidence to raise its annual outlook again. The company’s announcement thus combined higher profitability, cash generation and continued debt reduction.

Bausch Health generated $813 million in cash from operating activities in the third quarter of 2026, compared with $405 million in the same quarter a year earlier, an increase of 101%, according to its statement. This showed higher operating cash flow than in the comparison period, alongside a reduction of more than $500 million in net debt during the quarter. The company’s announcement went beyond the period’s results: it also raised its 2026 consolidated revenue outlook range to $10.975–11.175 billion. It also raised its adjusted EBITDA outlook range to $4.315–4.415 billion. Bausch Health linked its cash performance and quarterly results to its decision to revise its annual outlook.

In separate results, PriceSmart reported that revenue in its fiscal fourth quarter of 2026 rose 13.9% to $1.52 billion, compared with $1.33 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year. The company said foreign exchange rate fluctuations had a positive 6.0% impact on comparable sales in the period ended August 30, 2026. This positive currency impact puts part of the sales growth in the context of exchange rate movements, alongside the reported increase in revenue. The company’s net income rose 19.3% to $37.6 million for the quarter, from $31.5 million a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share were $1.21, compared with $1.02 in the fiscal fourth quarter of 2025, according to PriceSmart’s statement.

On expansion, PriceSmart opened its third club in Jamaica in October 2026 in Montego Bay. The club occupies a five-acre site and has about 42,000 square feet of selling space, according to the company. The site is about 100 miles west of the company’s nearest club in the capital, Kingston. PriceSmart said the design includes solar panels, energy-efficient LED lighting, a carbon dioxide-based refrigeration system and high-efficiency mechanical equipment. It said the features were designed to reduce energy consumption at the new club.

PriceSmart plans to open a new club on South Camp Road in Kingston in December 2026, according to the company’s announced schedule. It also targets opening a club in Villa Nueva, Guatemala, in late winter 2027. Spring plans for the same year include two clubs in Costa Rica and Santiago, Chile. The announced dates show continued expansion after the Montego Bay opening, with another Jamaica opening planned ahead of the other listed sites. PriceSmart shares closed at $166.49 on October 27, 2026, while Bausch Health shares closed at $6.31 on the same day.
