Alpha Tau Shares to Join Tel Aviv Stock Exchange’s TA-90 and TA-125 on November 5
Key Facts
Alpha Tau Medical said its ordinary shares will join the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange’s TA-90 and TA-125 indexes on November 5, 2026. In a statement issued on October 29, the company said the inclusion would place the stock in two indexes tracking segments of the Israeli market. It added that funds tracking the indexes are expected to add its shares to their holdings. The announcement follows the company’s registration of its shares for a dual listing on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in August, according to its newsroom. The company’s shares, which trade under the ticker DRTS, closed at $13.35 on October 28, according to EL7 data.
The TA-125 comprises 125 shares listed in the TA-35 and TA-90 indexes, according to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange’s definition. The exchange describes financial products linked to it as the most popular among market-index products and considers it a benchmark for the Israeli economy. The TA-90 comprises 90 constituents, with a maximum weight of 2% for any single stock, according to the index page. The exchange reviews the TA-90 constituents twice a year, at the close of trading on the first Thursday of May and November. Its constituents are ranked by market capitalization, with an entry threshold at rank 80 and an exit threshold at rank 100.
The TA-90 rules provide an expedited route for newly listed dual-listed companies, according to the index page. Alpha Tau announced on August 10 that it intended to list its ordinary shares in Tel Aviv alongside their Nasdaq trading. Chief Executive Uzi Sofer said at the time that Israeli investors had shown growing interest in the company’s progress and its technology’s potential. He added that the company had received requests from local investors to enable trading in the local currency and during Israeli business hours. The registration filing covered 92,478,154 outstanding ordinary shares, as well as classes of potential shares linked to convertible securities, options and the employee stock purchase plan.
The index inclusion coincides with clinical developments announced by the company in October. On October 19, it reported that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration had approved an expansion of the Alpha-DaRT trial for recurrent glioblastoma in the United States. The company said new data from the trial would be presented at the annual meeting of the Society for Neuro-Oncology in Philadelphia. The meeting is scheduled for November 12–15, 2026, after the index inclusion takes effect. The clinical date is separate from the index decision, which concerns the shares’ inclusion in Tel Aviv Stock Exchange indexes.
