The company’s latest confirmed annual outlook in its materials was for calendar-year 2026 revenue growth of about 11% year over year, announced on June 23. In its previous report, FedEx had raised its fiscal-year 2026 revenue growth outlook to a range of 6.0%–6.5%, compared with a range of 5%–6% before the March revision. The difference between the percentages reflects the different reference periods: a calendar year for the outlook announced in June, and a fiscal year for the March outlook.

FedEx posted revenue of $24.0 billion in the third quarter of its fiscal year, ended February 28, 2026, compared with $22.2 billion in the same period a year earlier. Adjusted operating income was $1.62 billion, versus $1.51 billion a year earlier. In March, the company raised its fiscal-year 2026 revenue growth outlook to 6.0%–6.5%, from 5%–6%. It also raised its adjusted diluted earnings-per-share outlook to $19.30–$20.10, compared with a previous outlook of $17.80–$19.00. These figures show that the March revision covered both revenue and earnings outlooks, ahead of any alleged October revision that could not be verified.

The company attributed the improvement in consolidated operating income in the third quarter to strong yields on U.S. domestic shipments and International Priority service, continued savings from its transformation initiatives, and higher U.S. domestic package volume. In its fiscal fourth-quarter results announced in June, FedEx also linked the improvement in adjusted operating income to strong yields on U.S. domestic shipments and International Priority service, transformation savings, and increased U.S. domestic package and international export volumes. The company said its revised March outlook assumed its current economic and fuel-price expectations would continue. It added that it did not assume any additional adverse developments related to the economy, geopolitics or international trade. These assumptions define the conditions on which the financial outlook published at the time was based.

FedEx’s fiscal-year-end change took effect for the period that began on June 1, 2026, requiring a distinction between fiscal and calendar years when comparing published outlooks. The company’s shares closed at $307.1 on October 27, according to EL7 data. The company’s conference call on third-quarter 2026 calendar-year results was scheduled for October 28 at 4:30 p.m. U.S. Central Time. Its conference call on fourth-quarter 2026 calendar-year results was scheduled for February 2, 2027, at 4:00 p.m. U.S. Central Time.
