Tanla Platforms’ Q2 Profit Rises 17.1% to 146 Crore Rupees
Key Facts
Tanla Platforms reported results on 27 October 2026 for the second quarter of fiscal 2027, which ran from July to September, posting revenue of 1,352 crore rupees and net profit of 146 crore. Revenue rose 25.3% from the same period a year earlier and 10.2% from the first quarter. Profit after tax increased 17.1% year on year and 3.0% quarter on quarter, while earnings per share were 11.09 rupees. The results put revenue growth ahead of profit growth as the enterprise communications business expanded. The board also declared an interim cash dividend of 6 rupees per share for fiscal 2026–2027.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were 214 crore rupees, up 20.8% from a year earlier and 6.6% from the previous quarter. Gross profit reached 353 crore rupees, rising 23.1% year on year and 8.2% quarter on quarter. Growth in both measures shows the business expanded during the quarter, while net profit growth was slower than revenue and operating profit growth on an annual basis. The company said free cash flow was 232 crore rupees, equivalent to 158% of profit after tax. These figures offer an indication of cash generation during the period alongside earnings and revenue results.
Chief Executive Officer Uday Reddy said the company’s enterprise business grew 27.2% year on year in the second quarter. He added that the company had more than 1,400 crore rupees in cash and a debt-free balance sheet. Enterprise business growth came alongside an increase in the company’s total revenue, which rose 25.3% from the same quarter last year. Tanla also said it completed the acquisition of ValueFirst’s international business during the quarter and that the deal strengthened its international presence. The company did not specify in its results announcement how much the acquired business contributed to revenue for the period.
According to its profile in the results announcement, Tanla serves more than 3,200 enterprises, and its shares are listed on India’s NSE and BSE exchanges. Its previous announcement of results for the first quarter of fiscal 2027 was dated 22 July 2026, the quarter before the period covered by the new results. For the cash dividend, 2 November 2026 was set as the record date for shareholders eligible for the interim payment of 6 rupees per share. That sets a specific next date for shareholders after the results announcement on 27 October. The quarterly disclosures bring together revenue and profit growth, expansion in the enterprise business, the international acquisition and an interim cash dividend.
